ISN hosted its second annual OVERNIGHT INDOOR CAMPOUT event on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Students from grade 2 through high school were invited to “campout” on campus at ISN! ISN’s Student Council Leadership group, with the oversight of ISN’s Guidance Counselor, organized all activities and events for the evening. ISN’s Principal, Teachers and Staff were present throughout the Campout to supervise and assist with the activities.
1月23日星期六, 至誠學(xué)校美國部組織二年級至高中學(xué)生參加了ISN第二屆學(xué)校室內(nèi)露營活動！校學(xué)生會領(lǐng)導(dǎo)組在指導(dǎo)顧問的幫助下，精心策劃晚間所有的活動項目。校長、老師和工作人員也在整個活動期間給予協(xié)助和管理。
The ISN indoor campout began with an orientation and an "honor oath" in which students committed to upholding ISN’s standards of unity, kindness and respect as defined within the ISN Five Agreements.
活動首先迎來ISN室內(nèi)露營活動開幕式和”榮譽宣誓”，學(xué)生支持遵守以團結(jié)、友好、尊重為核心的Five Agreements五項協(xié)議。
After a catered dinner of Subway sandwiches, primary students played cooperative learning games while secondary students participated in team building activities. The middle courtyard of each building hosted a campfire around which songs and marshmallow roasting took place. The following day, after breakfast and morning activities students were reluctant to part with each other.
Subway三明治晚餐后，小學(xué)生參與了學(xué)習(xí)合作的游戲，而中學(xué)生開展了團隊建設(shè)活動。露營篝火活動設(shè)置在各教學(xué)樓的中庭，學(xué)生圍著篝火取暖，唱歌，烤棉花糖。
The following day, after breakfast and morning activities students were reluctant to part with each other. During the event, ISN students organized and cleaned their “cabins” in preparation for the school day on Monday.
第二天早餐和晨間活動結(jié)束后，學(xué)生們依依不舍得回家了。活動期間，學(xué)生自己整理行裝，打掃教室，為星期一的上學(xué)日做準備。
The campout provides an opportunity for students to experience a safe meaningful and FUN overnight activity with their classmates and other members of the school community. It also gives students an opportunity to develop courage, confidence, and responsibility as they enjoy organized games, learn how to rely on each other during cooperative activities, and of course engaged in supervised free-time with their friends!
露營活動對學(xué)生來說意義非凡，不僅能讓學(xué)生感受到快樂，還能拉近學(xué)生彼此之間的關(guān)系，更能提高學(xué)生的自信心、責(zé)任感和參與活動的勇氣，通過游戲和活動增強對他人的信任感。相信與朋友共度的這個時光將會成為他們難忘的一段回憶！
